Lani's Perspective Photography Policies

General Policies

• Inclusivity: We welcome everyone. Discrimination of any kind, including religion, race, gender, or background, will not be tolerated. All are welcome here!
• Deposits & Payments: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session.
• No refunds will be issued unless under specific and approved circumstances.
• Late Policy: There are no late fees; however, if a session begins more than 30 minutes late, it will be considered canceled, and clients will be forced to reschedule for the next available date
• Cancellations: For any cancellation up to 12 hours within shoot time, there will be a $50 cancellation fee, and the deposit will not be refunded. Rescheduling will still be possible; just note that availability is not guaranteed.
• Weather Policy: Rescheduling due to rain or weather is allowed with no additional fee, as long as it is communicated promptly and agreed upon by both the client and photographer.
• Guests: Preferably 2-3 friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend your session, as long as they are not overly distracting! If disruptions continue to occur, guests may be asked to leave for the sake of the shoot and the client.
• Image Usage: Photos may be shared on social media and portfolio platforms (such as Instagram, Pinterest, and the business website). If you prefer not to have your images shared, please notify us in advance, and your request will be respected.
• Turnaround Time: Standard photo delivery is 10–14 days.
• Rush Option: A $100 rush fee is available if photos are needed within 3–6 days.

Travel

• Travel Fee: For all bookings outside of the general Austin area, an additional $75 fee will be included for travel cost.

Photos & Delivery

• Proofs (Applicable for Select Packages): For select packages (including graduation, most portrait sessions, and certain other offerings), proofs will be sent first. These proofs will be unedited RAW images, watermarked with the Lani’s Perspective logo, as they are unfinished work.
• Clients will then select their favorite images based on the number included in their package.
• Those selected images will be fully edited and delivered within the standard 10–14 day turnaround period.

Graduation Specific Policies

• Seasonal Turnaround Notice: Please note that during peak graduation seasons (late April–May for spring and late November–December for fall), delivery timelines are longer and photos may arrive after the ceremony date. Booking early is highly encouraged to avoid delays.
