FAQ
How do I book a shoot?
Here are the steps!
1. Fill out the contact form below (it takes about 30 seconds)
- We will reach out within 1–2 business days. From there, we’ll walk through your vision, finalize the details, and confirm the type of shoot that best fits your needs.
2. Send your deposit
- A 30% deposit is required to secure your date, and once that’s received, your session is officially booked!
Where are you based and do you travel?
Yes, we do travel! Our team is primarily based in the Austin area, but we frequently have clients in the Dallas metropolitan area as well. For sessions booked outside of Austin, a standard travel fee of $75 will be added to the cost of the shoot.
What kinds of sessions do you offer?
We specialize in portrait photography, from graduations and engagement sessions to professional headshots. Our focus is on capturing people in their best light and showcasing their unique beauty, no matter the occasion.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as possible! It’s always better to be safe than stressed. Many clients wait until the last minute and end up overwhelmed right before their shoot. Since our photo turnaround is 10-14 days, we recommend booking at least two weeks before you need your photos to ensure perfect timing. Plus, life happens, from car trouble to unexpected delays, so booking early gives you even more peace of mind.
When is the best time of day to book a shoot?
It really depends on your needs and style. Traditionally, 5–8 PM in the spring/summer and 4–6 PM in the fall/winter give you that beautiful sunset or “golden hour” look. That said, because we use powerful lighting (both outdoors and indoors), the time of day comes down to convenience and personal preference, so any time of day works for us!
What camera do you shoot with?
"I shoot with a Canon EOS RP, a 26-megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera. I pair it with my favorite lenses: the Sigma Art 85mm f/1.4, Sigma 24–70mm f/2.8, and Canon 35mm and 50mm f/1.8 to deliver the high-quality photos !"
